Advanced Semi-Conductor Innovation Hub (ASIH)
The Advanced Semi-Conductor Innovation Hub is to promote the innovative Semi-Conductor to all level of stakeholders in the industry to support the development of Hong Kong being a Smart City. We will remain as a key player in the ecosystem to engage the academia, industry player, research institute, government department and other parties concerned to serve the following purpose:
To promote the development of Hong Kong as an international hub for the China 3DIC & 3rd Generation Semiconductors Ecosystem supporting the role of I&T in promoting the development of re-industrialisation in Hong Kong.
To inspire the development of the 3DIC & 3rd Generation new Semi-Conductor technology in different applications Promoting a green and low-carbon economy support the development of the Greater Bay Area in the 14th Five-Year Plan
To strengthen the connection between the different stakeholders from the material, equipment, design, wafer fab, packaging, testing and applications (AI Chip, AIoT (AI + IoT), 3D Integration and Power Electronics) across microelectronics industries and technology communities for boosting the applied research
To encourage Startup, MSME on or investors in technology adoption and benefit from the new technology development and applications;
To provide technology demonstration for nurturing future R&D talent; also to provide the seminar to communicate on the most updated technology & application showcases for enlarged electronics and I&T development.
